Emotional singer/songwriter folk influenced by the haunting voice of singer and guitarist Janine Cathrein, a Swiss Music Award for her debut album White Creatures – Zurich’s Black Sea Dahu are the alternative band of the hour, and “five seconds before world fame”, as the SRF predicts.
The tour calendar, which takes the band not only through Switzerland (including Open Air St. Gallen) but throughout Europe, is as full as the concerts are well attended. Shortly before the start of the tour they visited us in Mönchaltorf.
Why? We were allowed to support Black Sea Dahu with the production of their new songbook. It contains everything that makes the fan heart beat faster, namely all lyrics and chords/notes from White Creatures. garnished with personal notes from bandeader Janine.
